On behalf of the Journal of Chromatography & Separation Techniques, as Editor-In-Chief it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the journal and inform you that, it’s been ten long years since we have started the journal, now we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary and we are privileged to welcome Analytical scientific community from around the globe to our journal.

The constant development of MS analytical science has pushed boundaries in the past 20 years. The high throughput required by the bio/pharma industries means that we need not only ever increasingly precise and sensitive systems for quantitative and qualitative analyses, but also speed in acquiring the data. The data also needs to be as comprehensive as possible, providing meaningful information that can be linked with physiology and disease mechanisms. This is imperative, not only for drug discovery in bio/pharma, but also in basic life sciences research, where investigating disease biomarkers and treatment targets is fundamental. It is these novel discoveries and ongoing research and development that are facilitating the realization of precision and personalized medicine today and in the near future.

Much of discovery research now employs a multi-omics approach, looking at the genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other -omics of human health and disease, using complex biological samples from humans as well as model systems, available in varying amounts. This means that mass spectrometry using electrospray ionization needs to be performed at different liquid chromatographic (LC) flow rates, such as nanoflow for proteomics, where sample amounts tend to be especially limited, and microflow for metabolomics, where sample amounts are frequently more abundant.

The Journal of Chromatography & Separation Techniques aims to disseminate knowledge and promote discussion through the publication of peer-reviewed, high quality research papers on all topics related to Chromatography emphasizing on multi-omics approach. The open access journal is published by OMICS International who hosts around 350 open access peer-reviewed journals as well as organizes more than 100 International scientific Conferences.

The Journal is successfully running in the 10th Volume which covers a wide range of subjects including pharmaceutical, environmental, food and clinical sciences, reaching out to analytical scientists worldwide. The Journal emphasizes on high-level research education and development. Original research articles, reviews, short communications, and letters to the editors in the fields of chromatography and separation science are accepted. Every effort is made to have a quality, rigorous, critical peer-review and rapid publishing process.

Realizing the importance of this field, OMICS Group is organizing prestigious conferences worldwide. The Conferences will provide a great scope for interaction of professionals including biochemistry experts, top-level biotechnologists and analytical chemistry scientists from around the globe, on a single platform.
